​The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the APSC Notification 2024-25 on March 23, 2025, to fill 262 vacant posts. This is a significant opportunity for aspirants preparing for the APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) this year. APSC CCE Notification 2024-25 :  Apply Online Link 2024

The online application process will begin at 12:00 noon on 28th March 2025 and will remain open until 5:00 PM on 29th April 2025. Candidates must apply for the Preliminary Examination exclusively through the official website,  https://apscrecruitment.in, as no other mode of submission will be accepted. The last date for payment of the prescribed fee is 1st May 2025 till 5:00 PM.

APSC Notification CCE 2024-25: Application Fee

The APSC 2024 Application Fee for the Assam Public Services Exam varies by category and remains the same as last year. Candidates should note that the application fee is non-refundable.

APSC Notification CEE 2024-25:  Eligibility Criteria

So, now let’s know about the eligibility criteria, such as age limit, nationality, education qualification, and the documents required.

APSC CCE Exam Age Limit 2025

  • First and foremost, you must be Indian and not less than 21 years old, as well as not more than 38 years old on 01-01-2024
  • Age calculation will be based on matriculation/HSLC admit card/certificate from a recognized board/council. 
  • No alternative documents are accepted. Furthermore, there are some age relaxations too, based on different categories.

APSC CCE Educational Qualification and other requirements:

  • The applicant must hold a degree from a recognized university under the UGC Act, 1956, or equivalent as declared by the government.
  • Additionally, the applicant must know and speak Assamese, an official/associate official language, or any tribal language of Assam.
  • Make sure that you have registered in a District Employment Office in Assam
  • Most importantly, the applicant must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
  • Furthermore, you have to submit “Form A” as per Government Notification ABP.69/2019/17 (06/11/2019) while applying for the APSC CCE

APSC Notification CEE 2024-25:  Selection process

The APSC CCE Exam pattern is three-fold. Each stage evaluates candidates’ knowledge, aptitude, and expertise for different roles.

APSC Recruitment CEE 2025: Preliminary Examination

The preliminary exam is the first phase. The exam consists of two objective-type papers: General Studies Paper-I and General Studies Paper-II (CSAT) that is qualifying in nature. Each paper is designed to test a candidate’s grasp of basic concepts and their aptitude.

It’s important to note that you need to secure 33%  to qualify the CSAT paper

APSC Notification CEE 2024-25: Main Examination

The main exam consists of six papers and is descriptive in nature. You can write the Mains examination either in  Assamese or English.
