<\/span>Eligibility Criteria To Become an AFS Officer<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\nCriteria<\/strong><\/td>Requirment<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>Age<\/td> 21 to 38 years (age relaxation for SC\/ST\/OBC as per norms)<\/td><\/tr> Educational Qualification<\/td> Graduate from a recognized university<\/td><\/tr> Character<\/td> Good moral character certified by two respectable persons<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/span>Recruitment to AFS by Promotion through the Commission <\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n\nAs per the rules, 50% of the vacancies in the Junior Grade-II cadre are filled through promotion. APSC conducts a Departmental Promotion Examination to fill these vacancies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n After the exam, APSC prepares a list of qualified candidates and sends it to the Government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n If two or more candidates score the same marks, their seniority is decided based on merit and overall suitability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n The final merit list is then published in the Official Gazette.<\/li>\n\n\n\n Selected candidates have to complete a three-month training program as decided by the Governor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n They can be appointed to the Junior Grade-II post only after finishing this training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\nStage<\/strong><\/td>Components<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>Written Test<\/td> General Studies, English, Financial Rules & Accounts, Local Language (qualifying)<\/td><\/tr> Viva Voce<\/td> Personality Test, Administrative Aptitude<\/td><\/tr> Training<\/td> 6-month classroom training + 3-month attachment in treasury\/finance offices<\/td><\/tr> Bond<\/td> 5-year service bond to be signed before appointment<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
