Eligibility Criteria for APSC JDO Recruitment: 

Nationality & Domicile:

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen (Articles 5–8 of the Constitution).
  • Must be a permanent resident of Assam. Accordingly, the applicant needs to upload a valid PRC or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from any recognized university with at least one of the following subjects: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography, or Commerce. Preference will be given to Honours graduates.

(Upload all relevant semester/year mark sheets reflecting the subjects and the final pass certificate.)

Application Process

  1. Visit https://apscrecruitment.in.
  2. Register using the “Register Here” option for One-Time Registration (OTR).
  3. Log in and complete your profile with:
    • Personal & educational details
    • Upload a recent photo (minimum size 50 KB and max size 200 KB and not older than 3 months)
    • Signature (Min size: 0 KB & Max size: 200 KB)
    • Upload supporting documents (PDF, max 2 MB) like birth certificate, qualifications, experience, etc.
  4. Apply for the post under “Applicant Section > Apply Section.”
  5. Pay the application fee and retain the receipt.
  6. Take a printout of the final submitted form.

In case of a payment failure, please click the ‘Validate Payment‘ button to verify the transaction with the bank. If there is a double debit, meaning the amount was charged twice for the same transaction, the bank will automatically refund the fee to the applicant within 5-7 working days.

Important Notes for APSC JDO Recruitment: 

  • Government employees must upload a certificate of employment and a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  • Candidates must declare compliance with Small Family Norms using Form-A (available on the APSC site).
  • All certificates must be scanned in 200 dpi grayscale, clearly legible, and under 2MB in size.
  • PwBD candidates may apply even if there is no reservation, but selection will be based on general merit.
  • Only one application per candidate per post is allowed. If multiple applications are submitted, only the one with the higher application number will be considered.

  • The APSC will notify the selection procedure later. This may include written tests, interviews, or both.
  • Candidates may be zoned for exams based on their district of residence.
