Eligibility Criteria for APSC JDO Recruitment:
Nationality & Domicile:
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen (Articles 5–8 of the Constitution).
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam. Accordingly, the applicant needs to upload a valid PRC or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from any recognized university with at least one of the following subjects: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography, or Commerce. Preference will be given to Honours graduates.

Important Notes for APSC JDO Recruitment:
- Government employees must upload a certificate of employment and a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Candidates must declare compliance with Small Family Norms using Form-A (available on the APSC site).
- All certificates must be scanned in 200 dpi grayscale, clearly legible, and under 2MB in size.
- PwBD candidates may apply even if there is no reservation, but selection will be based on general merit.
- Only one application per candidate per post is allowed. If multiple applications are submitted, only the one with the higher application number will be considered.
