HRA and Transport Allowance for Central Government Employees as recommended by 7th Pay Commission
The 7th Pay Commission has introduced revised rates for House Rent Allowance (HRA) based on the classification of cities. Proposed rates of 24%, 16%, and 8% have been suggested for X, Y, and Z class cities, respectively. Additionally, the commission has recommended an increase in HRA when Dearness Allowance (DA) crosses 50% and 100%.
