  • Newly appointed ACS officers undergo foundational and specialized training  at Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapra, Guwahati
  • The training phase covers land revenue, law enforcement, and disaster management.
  • Work includes both indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Transfers happen very frequently, and officers may be assigned to different districts and departments.

How to Prepare for the APSC CCE?

To get this esteemed position, APSC CCE is your gateway. But first, you need to know the exam format as well as the syllabus for both Prelims and Main exams. The APSC CCE consists of three phases:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims): Objective-type questions.
  2. Main Examination (Mains): descriptive papers.
